Life in 2009 - Episode 1

School life is getting more busy nowadays. I realised that I had not have any time when I would be homework-free, unlike last year. Last year was a time when I could rush through all my work and have some relaxation for a period of time, but no longer now.

Nevertheless, I cannot resist the temptation not to do my homework during breaks in school. Doesn't it tempt all of us to just go and get a break? And this is probably one reason why I am always loaded up with work. However it is quite a good control to ensure that I do not get too worn out mentally isn't it?

It feels much better to focus all concentration on work at one go, than having work all time round. Supposing the latter, how do we find the time for relaxation? Therefore, I like the way it is, and thus my advice to all excessively hardworking people out there is not to think that it is good to study 100% in school and relax at home, but spread it out into both circumstances.

In assisting my academics, some teachers are really good, while others are not bad. This has totally changed my views on different subjects. Subjects that I looked forward to last year, might not be neccesarily so this year, and thus the other way round. However this year, not only am I still looking forward to PE as usual, but perhaps even more than last year. To me, it is a time to stretch out, relax and freshen up, not just taking a break for lessons like how I treat free periods to be. Thus just as I look forward to PE day, I look forward to the day before also, as I know that PE would only be a day away. I am made PE representative, though I think co-incidentally; but at the same time, I feel that maybe there is a certain link between this and my enthusiasm. Speaking of PE, after having read my handbook full of errors, I have changed my goal for this year's 2.4 km run. To get an A, I need an 11:00 for that.

That's about all I have to say about maintaining an active mind and body for this year. I will write more after I have reached a certain accomplishment of finishing my assigned work. :)
